Wish

Wish is a beautiful tale, symbolising the bond between human and animal, following a young girl in a new town, as she stumbles her way through life. Two mammals of similar pasts meet and find soulmates in each other, creating a strong bond between the two. Each help the other in many different ways and experience conflict, success, all with the other by their side. The story is a beautifully raw story about love and how life never really turns out the way you imagine it, it would leave any animal lover and non alike, in tears. Following the conventional pattern of a story, it opens the scene for something much more and leaves the reader changed for the better. For me this book was a turning point in my life and inspired my parents to add a new member to our family, someone who I had been yearning for, for ages. It is one of my most cherished books and I am sure it will hold a special place in your bookshelf for you too.
