It involves five teens who all go into detention but only four come out. With many parts to the murder, it is hard to see the victim and the murderer in this story. The book also has a dash of romance, continued seamlessly in its sequels, One of Us Is Next and One of Us Is Back. Both books kick off with a tangled web of lies and betrayals.
