A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder

AGGTM, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, is a phenomenal book that has made me, a bit more aware of the world around me and has also given me a wonderful read. It has introduced me to lots of different genres and themes and after the many, many times I’ve reread it, I still throughly enjoy it. Both its sequels and prequel seamlessly continue the story, stressing upon the same events that took place in the preceding book but also introducing new characters and cases along with this. Along with the euphoria that the protagonist feels, Holly Jackson also explores the wild variety of emotions that a person can experience after solving a murder. It also has mild mentions of romance to spice things up, whilst amazingly transporting the reader to the scene of the crime. The protagonist being an introvert also supports the story and shows how she slowly opens up with her new found relationships. One treat that you should definitely not miss out on, is Pip’s blueberry, or should I say, bribery muffins that can sweeten any scowl.
