Kane Chronicles

The Kane Chronicles are perfect for all fans of Percy Jackson and Egyptian myths. With beautiful tales to challenge traditional stories, Rick Riordan has once again bent the gods to his will! With family connections and a terrifying new monster in every tale, siblings Sadie and Carter must fight or flight, along with of course trying to find their magically disappeared parents. It all starts at the British Museum, London, with the exploding of the years ancient Rosetta Stone, and the unleashing of some not so agreeable characters. It’s a mad dash for safety, full of sibling rivalry and hints of romance. The story is told in a wonderful informal tone, with both siblings telling their side of the story, giving the reader two different perspectives. Both characters are kind and funny, making the readers warm to either one or both of them. It too incorporates aspects of life, to add a pop to the story. Along with this riveting tale, I am sure that you wouldn’t mind a plate of baklava!
