Little Women
With the fantasies of all little girls, and the incorporation of the spirit of the nineties, Little Women is one classic that I love. The worries of the young girls hold true to the time but also change with the passing age. As each day comes and gos, full of happiness, it isn’t long before the characters are all tasked with trouble. The four girls band together as their mother visits their father, sick in bed after serving the army. In this dire time, soon yet another danger comes close and teaches them the true meaning of sisterhood. The family fights with fate but finally, rejoices as their troubles seem to be ending. The author’s writing style holds remnants of the years aged and holds the torch to a new tomorrow. It teaches of resilience whilst also crafting a beautiful story that keeps the reader captivated. As you read of family togetherness, it would be quiet nostalgic to munch on some maple sugar cookies, reminding you of your own families good times together!
