The Mysterious Benedict Society

The Mysterious Benedict Society is one of the most eye-opening books and is full of amazing riddles. It explores the rivalry between two twins, both of whom are are intellectually great, one who works for good, whilst the other, evil. It displays the power of teamwork and youth, highlighting that most children are smarter than adults. It also explores these children in their adulthood, in one of its sequels and talks about tough topics whilst also pulling science-fiction fanatics with its continuous references to tech and mind control. Along with this, it shows how different people are intelligent in different ways and exhibits children of different backgrounds all working together for one large cause. It also shows how people with disabilities or differences can have huge thoughts and ideas. I relate to one of the characters in this book the most, one who has a huge liking to food and carries a food bucket to most places. One treat that I would most certainly recommend from this bucket are some Cheese and Herb Scones.
